It was amazing. We had a beautiful room with an en-suite shower/restroom and a really pretty view of the beach over a little bitty hill. Steve and Vicki were very accommodating and welcoming, allowing my partner and I the comfort and relaxation we needed for our anniversary get away. They also provided awesome suggestions for where to eat, drink, hang out and do fun activities. They also have us beach towels and shovels for our visit to hot water beach!nnWe had absolutely no problems with our stay and even got to make a new friend, Honey the dog. Even though the room were located on the lower floor of the building, we were allowed access to the balcony that overlooked the beach.nnOnly suggested I’d make is find out what the breakfast was because it smelt good! We didn’t pay for the breakfast because we were on a mission. However I’d definitely try it the next time I visit!
Loved it here!! Steve and Vicki were such good-natured people. They made us feel comfortable and at home. The place itself was gorgeous and they kept on top of all their housework. Honey their beautiful dog was very accommodating too!
B &B did not disappoint as it was located across the road from Whitianga beachfront. We were welcomed warmly by Vicky ; our room was small but clean and comfortable with an ensuite bathroom note: no air conditioning plus outside seating areas upstairs on an open deck and downstairs in garden and a shared kitchenette area. Cereal, yogurt, fruit and freshly baked croissant for breakfast. It is a 20 minute walk into town along the waterfront. We would stay there again.
This is a true dinkum Kiwi experience with Steve & Vicky as wonderful hosts. The location is terrific and right across the water, a short stroll to the city centre and serene as ever.nnThe rooms are immaculate, the attention meticulous and you will never want to leave.nnI want to take Honey home with me but she is a ‘One Man Woman’ pooch and loves riding the Ferry with Steve.nnA must return for longer B & B.
Absolutely divine B&B and equally wonderful hosts. Small touches were very thoughtful. Would absolutely recommend it. Sea can be seen and at walking distance. Beautiful kitchen. Even had provided ear plugs. Very well decorated rooms and comfy mattress.
