About Kids is an in home childcare programme (located through the Kapiti, Hutt Valley & Horowhenua regions) ideal for children aged 0 to 5 years old.
Gaylene Williams has owned and managed early childhood centres across New Zealand for the last 20 years.
During this time she saw a need to offer families an alternative form of early childhood education.
Gaylene and her family have always lived rurally and wanted to offer children the opportunity to have a traditional childhood that the home environment offers.
This was the real vision behind About Kids.
Our in-home child carers are known as educators. They provide care and learning for children from birth to 5 years in a family atmosphere in their own home and receive on going support from qualified Early Childhood Teachers.
