Stopped by for a drink drink and meal on our way to Napier and very happy we did. There was live music so the atmosphere was great. The place was busy so we had to wait a while to order and the anti pasto platter has sold out. We had some pizza and the beer flight - which was delicious, the pizza was average but lovely day out and service was nice.
The wines were widely varied. Full flavors. A sweet riesling bordering ice wine that was rich and lovely. One of the best vineyards we've ever been to.
Average tasting wine and food, the ginger beer is good. Unfriendly, slow servers and dirty tables. It is a good casual atmosphere though; I might come back but wouldn't recommend.
Beautiful vineyard with lovely wines that had great food in offer. Met the owner who is a kind gentleman and shared great knowledge on the history and how they developed and started the winery. Absolutelt beautiful place & garden settings.
A really nice spot and the outdoor setting under the trees is perfect, so relaxing with plenty of tables. Service is great and food is perfect for this type of venue. Was really busy but we didn’t wait long to be served or for our food to arrive. Very friendly staff and the Alien APA was top stuff, very nice wines as well. Highly recommended.
One of the worst winery experiences I’ve ever had, and I’ve had a few. The staff were completely overwhelmed with the number of people present, they only had one person serving and it took over 25mins standing in line to order a wine tasting. After we got to the front, we found out that they’d sold out of half the menu items, so ordered a pizza. The pizza never arrived, and we sat there for an hour. The wines were very heavy pours and some of the most acidic and poorly balanced wines I’ve ever tasted. Give this one a VERY wide berth unless you just want to sit in the sun and listen to live music and drink water.
A very sophisticated venue, with great prices on their tasting paddles cider/beer. Would definitely visit again when I'm back in the region.
Gorgeous little spot of sunshine for drinks with friends and family.
The food was awesome. Great seating and dining space.Good service , friendly staff. They have a good range of wine and beer options to choose from.
Enjoyed our visit here, great service and venue. Good price on wines.
