The worst experience. Having been in 3 times in 2 weeks and were seen by the trainee all 3 times. We were told different things each time we were seen. Only to have been mucked around. If we knew ALL the details it would have only been the 1 visit. However being told different stories each time with different paper work needed is Absolutely shocking. Wait time is ridiculous.
Had a great experience today, while renewing my driver's licence. Served by a lovely lady with henna on her hands . She was professional, fast and very pleasant.
Very bad experience. We came to convert Indian driving licence to NZ licence. Before visiting the AA center I made a call and asked the required documents. Although I brought the documents as explained by the customer service person, our application was not considered. The customer service lady asked us to bring documents from parivahan seva website. In my second visit I brought all the documents I could get from Indian driving licence websites not just parivahan seva, but still the customer service person said we are nearly there, and showed us the example copies of DL extracts which are laminated.nnWe could have shown these documents in our first visit or these can be shown in the AA website.nnMy advice to AA , there are different ways to get DL extract from Indian tranport authorities. If you provide links to them with the procedure, it will be helpful for the customer. Also upload the laminated copies which are at customer desk in the website.nnThanksnnSharath
Terrible Terrible customer service, and staff that does not try to help - AVOID AT ALL COST IF YOU NEED AN EYE TEST DONEnnWent into the AA constellation drive location to get my drivers licence renewed. it was a long wait time to get to the counter, so I understand that it was an busy day and staff was tired, however I received extremely poor customer service with Vanessa.nnShe was short with me to begin with but had no patience when I had trouble using the eye test equipment. I was told it was supposed to show 3 columns, however it only displayed 2 columns. after trying multiple times to read row 1 and Vanessa getting frustrated at me because apparently I cannot follow her simple instructions - I figured out and tried to explain to her that the machine was faulty and I physically could not read the third column since it was not displayed. Vanessa brushed this off and said the machine is fine, she had another customer earlier today that had no issues using the equipment, and the issue must be with my eyesight.nI asked if I could try the other machine, and was told no. I also asked if we could try resetting the machine and was also told there was nothing wrong with the machine. She did not even try to trouble shoot the issue with the equipment - and claimed that it really was my eyesight's issue.nnThe customer next to me tried their other machine and also ran into the same issue with only being able to see 2 columns instead of 3 - staff also insisted it was his eyesight - not their machines.nnI HAVE 0.5% PRESCRIPTION IN EACH EYE - IF THERE IS AN ISSUE WITH MY EYESIGHT IT WOULD ONLY SHOW AS BLURRY, NOT MISSING A WHOLE FRICKIN COLUMN ON THE SCREEN!!!nnAll this to say - I now have to find time to go to an optometrist, shell out the cost for the eye test and make another trip back to AA.nnAA Constellation drive needs to do better to train their staff and look after their equipment so not to waste their customers time and resources. If there were another option to not go with AA, I would do so 1000%.nnWhat a waste of my time.nnanyway on a side note out of frustration I did go to the AA takapuna branch and tried out their machines on the same day - had no issues seeing all three columns from their machines.nnEDIT: spoke with my optometrist who also ran into the same issue when getting her own drivers licence renewed at the constellation drive location.nShe mentioned the issue with those machines are because AA staff doesn't adjust the distance for each eye per the person !!! however each person's width between their eyes are different so thats why those images don't line up properly.nnHere's her suggestion: if you happen to get a machine where they are missing an entire column, try moving a little to the side to get the angle correctly.nnHonestly not a great solution but at least that'll save you an unnecessary trip and money at the optometrist.
Terrible service. Arrived and there was a long queue that was fine but then the counter staff move with no urgency to clear the queue then are rude when you finally get to the counter 1hr 30 mins later and to add to the problem a AA lady who would randomly greet people and check documents kept putting people in front of line who just walked in, these people then took ages with the staff one 30 minutes.resulting in longer waits for those who had already waited in line. Dont reccommend this branch at all.
