We arrived late afternoon after a long 7 hour drive on a Friday.nWe were welcomed by the host Martin who is very friendly.nThe room was excellent,nUnfortunatley Martin and his wife had invited friends over and partied with very loud music until 1.30amnSo after paying for a room to sleep we were unable to sleep .nI think they should not rent the room out to paying customers if they intend to have a loud party.nMartin asked me if the noise was too loud, and I replied yes , it kept me awake until 1.30amnHe said sorry but no offer of refund was suggested.nIt's a shame as the room was nice but the stay was terrible.nNicole.
This place is a gem. Nestled just outside the city of Cambridge, the owners, Martin and Angela, are lovely people with a laid back attitude. The rooms are cosy and well maintained, the grounds are clean and the communal kitchenette which is shared by the 3 rooms is a great way to get to know fellow guests and get information about the local area. We loved our stay here and will definitely be returning when we're next in the area.
Very good standard of accommodation. The kitchen/dining area is shared, which is actually a very good idea, as it keeps cooking and food odours, etc. out of the bedroom. Very nice surroundings in semi rural area.
Great accommodation and the bed was very comfortable. What was exceptional was, everything was set out to give the best customer experience. This will be our choice to stay on long trips. Thank you.
Each year my family and I stay at Martins and he is the best host ever. We always look forward to that time of year when we return to enjoy the surroundings and the pool..
