Really handy place to stop by if you're unsure of what to do or just need some information. They also have free wifi which is also handy for information gathering. They are located on the main street in Ohakune with street parking nearby.
A friendly little i Site. They sell some typical souvenirs out there. Also you can book some activities and accommodation in this i Site.

We found very informative this place ... also good selection of souvenirs and bonus we found an EV charger station here...
Another great i-SITE with wonderful staff. This one even has a relief model of the region, showing all the mountain peaks and hiking/biking/skiing trails.

A rather unique building which is quite well used. It's situated in the middle of town with easy access. Limited nearby parking. Good toilets 50m away. Great range of display, brochures local, regional and beyond. If in doubt - ask the question. If you don't ask you won't know. The small, knowledgeable team seem to know all about what's going where throughout the district. Charming g and pleasant team members willing and able to help, answer questions - and assist with bookings at many places and facilities.
Great place to stop and get info for activities in the local area - friendly, helpful team there and lots of leaflets available too. You can also book up trips there too.
Thanks to Kerry for all her help on Monday getting us organized for the Tongariro Crossing on Wednesday - much appreciated. It took the pressure off the Caregiver/Safety Officer of our group!
