Great casual dining in the middle of the action on the casino floor. Nice menu with all the favourites. Nice atmosphere and decor. Prompt service and prices not too bad. Loved the dessert selection!
We were looking for a restaurant at the Crown that would allow for a leisurely meal on a Sunday before a 1:00pm performance at the Crown Theater. 88 Noodle Bar opens at 11:30am on Sunday and we needed to arrive at the theater no later than 12:45pm. We were near the front of the que to ensure early service. The menu was clearly displayed at each seat at the table. Prices were very reasonable. Our order was taken promptly but then we began to wait. Others around us who arrived after us were served first and finished before we were served. We asked about the status of our meal and were told that the meals we ordered taken longer to prepare chicken teriaki and pork belly with rice. Our meal was eventually served and the food quality was excellent. However, the chicken was cut into pieces too large to eat in a single bite and the only cutlery provided was a fork and a soon. We could not get any server's attention to request a knife so we had to make do. We did arrive to our performance on time but felt a little hurried.
This place is amazing. The food is served quickly, it's tasty and the staff are super professionals. I ordered the Prawn Singapore noodle and my friend ordered the Kway teow. Both dishes were delicious. Big serves so come here hungry. The menu is just the right size. A few soups, some rice dishes and lots of noodle dishes. Native goreng, pad thai, laksa to name a few. This will be my go to restaurant whenever I visit the Crown.
No service what so ever! First time i went there I ordered as I sat down and there wasn't much of a wait but the place was almost empty. Second time I returned I was taken to my table bit wanted to look at the menu, after making my choice I tried to get the attention of the staff bit nobody looked at me. I watched people get sat down and served but no myself. I decided to walk out and go next door then the lady that sat me down looked my way but it was too late. Disappointing! I was told this place was good.
If you want delicious food without breaking the bank, then you have found the perfect place. Located inside the Crown Casino, this restaurant has great atmosphere and excellent service! Our favourites include the fried rice, chicken teriyaki and pad Thai, all made to order and humungous portion sizes. If you are a crown member you can also get a discount.
Had Szechuan chicken ... The rice is fluffy, like the cashew... And some shredded carrots and spring onion the garnish I tasted off capsicum and onion and the quality of the chicken is pffftttt..... Come on Crown surely you serve better food than rice, nuts and raw carrots
Back again~ lovely place, food serving is very fast, if you go early around 5:30pm ish there is not much customers, don’t need to wait on line. Have always loved the katsu chicken rice with spicy Mayo, the portion is large and very filling!!
Convenient place to have a nice bowl of hot noodles in the casino after some drinks. Not 100% authentic Asian cuisine but passable. Would like it if they offered sambal instead of just cut chilies for our Curry Laksa to make it spicy as the chilies were very mild. Very busy restaurant but we got seated in less than 5 minutes. Ordered & got our food pretty swiftly. Service is quite quick & friendly.
Recently Had prawn wonton noodle soup, however, the wonton not well cooked. You can see the wonton skin still white, not well cooked, so it's hard not soft when you eat it. My favourite dish here is Laksa. Authentic flavour and serving was just right for me
Food is average but quick service, staff very friendly, attentive and smiling. Price is a little high but given the location and opening times it's understandable.Food: 3/5
