Loathe to spread bad vibes but this was appalling. Called in a takeaway based on google reviews but should have known better on collection as just one lady who was lovely answering the phone, taking orders, cooking and settling the bill. All our vegetarian dishes suspiciously had the same frozen vegetable mix of sweet corn, diced potato, carrot and green beans. The taste and texture was appalling, $10 for an empty shell of a dosa with unpleasant sauces, whilst the poppadoms were coated in a thick odd tasting grease. So so disappointing... I feel compelled to go back and talk about this with them as it was just awful.
Such delicious food!!! I was never a big fan of Indian cuisine, until I had Seven Hills! The extensive range of vegan options is fantastic and the food is just so flavoursome. If you aren't a fan of spicy food, they will make your dish extremely mild which I found made the flavours of the dish even more robust. Can't recommend this place enough!
My daughter and I eat here about once a week and the food has always been delicious and well-priced. The service is friendly and the restaurant, although small and simple, is always spotlessly clean and comfortable. If you like vegetarian food, especially curries, you won't be disappointed.
Disappointing. We have recently moved to the area and could have been regular customers but after our first experience we will not be returning. First of all there was no atmosphere. It was early so no one else in the restaurant which is fine but no music so a bit awkward. My partners meal consisted of what looked like cheap veggies you get from a bag in the frozen section in the supermarket with an Indian sauce mixed through. My lentil meal had a burnt taste all through it like they had burnt it in the pot but served it anyway and our potato Naan bread didn't have any potato in it. We spoke to the girl at the counter who didn't charge us for the burnt tasting lentil dish but we still paid far too much for the frozen vegetables and naan. Would not recommend.
Am not a huge fan of Indian Food but hubby felt like it so I went with it - ended up being blown away by the taste and textures of dishes I had never before tried. Absolutely beautiful dishes and we’ve since ordered take aways twice and tried a variety of dishes and all fabulous! I highly recommend!
This is the best restaurant I've tried in Brisbane so far. From the price to the amount you get served and how everything was delicious, we can't recommend this place enough. It is a bit tiny inside but we went there around 5 or 6pm and no other customers! Deliveries are also available.
Monday night no one else in the restaurant. Came in with a bottle of red BYO. After we order we needed to ask for glasses for the wine, Received champagne glasses... Food came quickly however desserts were served before we finished mains. Did not receive any serviettes of serving spoons. No music and uncomfortable atmosphere. Waitress was nice but untrained and awkward. Food was standard.
Always tasty, always fresh - staff are great and never had a problem with the service. Shop sells some great snacks too. Doesn't get anywhere near enough love! Great to dine in or take away.
The spice store is absolutely rubbish. Over- priced as compared to other indian grocery stores and they don't hesitate to sell expired products. If you are shopping here please always check the expiry/best before date. They also sell "sample and free packs" that clearly mention they are not for retail sale. The guy at the counter is pretty rude as well.Overall, not a decent store to shop. Avoid if possible.
Beyond doubt the best Dosas in Brisbane. If you are looking for seriously authentic Indian food without fussing too much about rich and classy ambiance, then this is the place for you! Hard working and pleasant crew, huge range of menu that also includes Indian Chaat. Must visit.
