Great instructors that made it so fun and great to learn. We went for Swing Lessons before the Cooly Rocks On festival and we had such a great time. Moreover, compared to other dancing studios in the area - 5th Avenue Dance was by far the most responsive and friendly - whereas we simply even struggled to communicate and arrange timeslots with other providers. Steven & Maki Dance teachers/instructors are so welcoming. They are very passionate about social ballroom and their way of teaching is helpful, patient and easy to understand. I’ve danced when I was young, and wanted to get back into it. They will structure the program to your needs and level. I’ve progressed faster than I realised. There are social events and many opportunities to meet new people and practice and show off your skills. But there’s no pressure to attend! Although it does benefit your learning!. I love my dance lessons, look forward to them! They are also very flexible with your life circumstances and timetable! I’m so grateful for their support in my dance journey. 100% recommend.
My wife, a good dancer had been dancing with 5th Avenue for some years and encouraging me to do the same. I was always too busy! However, I eventually decided to go along and never looked back. Stephen and Maki are patient, well qualified, expert and fun teachers. I would never call myself an expert, but my wife and I rarely miss an opportunity to get on the dance floor together. I really appreciate the happiness and confidence they have given me. They will take from social dancing level to gold.
My partner and I just had our complimentary first dance lesson, and we were extremely impressed! It’s a beautiful dance studio, but more importantly our instructor Maki was incredible! Terrific 'Dance Studio', caters to wide mix of ages, abilities and goals . The dance instructors 'Steven & Maki' are very knowledgeable, that makes learning fun in a relaxed way, while individualising techniques to suit each person's base ability as they build towards their personal dancing goals. Excellent and dedicated teachers in the art of dancing. An astounding array of learning techniques assists in allowing the dancer within to emerge and enjoy the benefits of dancing socially. I enjoy and appreciate each dance session.
We love dancing at 5th Avenue with Steve and Maki! My partner and I have made great progress with this wonderful teaching and dancing couple. They take time to get to know each individual student so that they can tailor our classes to better meet our needs and preferences and are always flexible when we need to reschedule.
5th Avenue Dance Studio provides me with a fun environment to learn to dance. My one on one lessons with Steven allow me to learn to dance at my own pace and ability. The flexible hours allow me to book in my private lessons for a time that suits me. The group lessons and social dance nights allow me to try out what I have learnt with other 5th Avenue students who also love to dance. I never have trouble finding parking at the studio. Steven, Maki and Rebecca are all very friendly and genuine dance instructors.
We started with the free lesson and loved it. My husband and I were quite impress with the way Stephen and Maki teaches you. They make it so enjoyable, easy and fun. It is also a great place to meet new people .
5th Avenue Dance Studio is by far the best dance studio we have ever attended. Lots of encouragement , friendly atmosphere, highly experienced teachers and a variety of dance practice opportunities additional to the of lessons.
