Bought some beans here and they were terrible. Burnt and oily with virtually no crema. Noticed they also sell peanut butter so might have been residue oil from peanut roasting.

Had to throw the beans out.

As a fussy coffee drinker, I have been frequenting Panelens for more than a year at the time of writing and Panelens has always lived up to its great coffee. The coffee is consistently good every single time. In fact, I would say that they serve one of the best coffee in Melbourne. When I switched to soy, the coffee continues to be excellent. I love the vanilla slices, apple crumble muffins and chocolate cake there. Service is always warm and friendly.
