The swimming pools in QLD keep blowing my mind, this is one of the best swimming pools I’ve been, and definitely the cheapest one.

The pool is fine, but so many times lanes are booked out and they only advise you when the booking time starts.nnI get it - clubs are great and they should be able to book lanes. Just put a sign up as an FYI. Don't wait until the booking starts, then try to kick you out.nnThis happens often and I don't go at the same time, same day.

Establishment Year: 1960. Entry Fee: $3.00 . Staff are great communicators. There are three Swimming Pools. The smaller swimming pool suitable for those greater that 10 years of Age. The Second Swimming Pool is suitable for those that can swim or those that take safety measurements to keep a float. The Third is an indoor Swimming Pool. The swimming Pool is heated and is the size of the Olympic pool. The diving pool is not in working order. The water is green.nThe facility sell goggles, swimming caps and snacks.nThere is a coffee shop attached to the swimming pool facility. Unknown times.

This spot has a couple of artillery pieces captured from the Germans from the first world war. Great to snap a selfie with and to appreciate the size and firepower these would have had for the time. I never got a chance to go inside the center
