The staff are always helpful and I find the prices are generally better than Dan's. If they aren't, they price match without a hassle ... and you are encouraged to do so. They also stock reasonably priced beers that aren't available elsewhere. Thank you!
As much as I love going here. I do wish the would carry the Baileys special gift packs at Christmas. So disappointed to see items advertised online but nothing in the store which is a 50min drive away.
Worst customer service, it was 7:50 and they shut the doors in our face, the Asian guy was very rude to me. This is not a way to do business. All he wanted to do was just close doors and go home. Maybe he should wait till 8 pm then close the doors and if a customer is at the front of the shop he should just let them quickly do their shopping. Very disappointed and won’t be going there ever again and will make sure to let our friends know about this customer service. I do not know how the manager let these guys work.

A little cold by staff when I walked in at 2:30pm, no staff member came up and asked if I needed any help. Walked out and went to Dan Murphy and received good service.
I used to go to first choice all the time because it's range of craft beer was the best and easy to locate the style that I wanted plus their expensive wine range made it easy to select gifts. Although it's still one of my "go-to"s in the area Dan Murphy's has definitely upped it's game and I tend to go there now for my craft beer selections especially when trying something new or international. I would still recommend first choice over bws or liquor land in a great beat for range and price but I have to weigh up what I'm buying and check the website to see if it it's better to go to Dan Murphy's.
Nothing out of the box. Not a huge shop like warehouse size so options are limited. Pretty good selection considering. Staff competent and polite but not what you could call friendly. Adequate
