Being one of Dunedin outside carparks it is getting like you need a 4wd to park there soon. My sportcar bellys on the uneven surface being low. I have to drive very slowly and chose your track around this car park now, as I don't want to lose my exhaust. So Please take care of driving your car when parking here. The ground has slumped in many parts of the the car park.
Parked there on a Saturday, so it was easy to get a park. Barrier entry and exit, take a ticket on the way in. Being an open area it's excellent for a motorhome with plenty space for turning. Paid at the exit barrier without a problem, although apparently the ticket machine on the corner wasn't working. $6 for all day parking is good value and its handy enough to walk or bike to the railway station or into town, or walk to the stadium or Logan Park.
