Travelled from Melbourne because we heard about these pies and they didn't disappoint. That said, we were a bit disappointed that the place was quite dirty most tables covered in crumbs when we arrived and the price of everything was higher than expected.nnWe had the beef ragu as well as the beef & mushroom pies, followed by the cinnamon roll & the blueberry cheesecake danish with a coffee. The sweets were a bit cold and the coffee wasn't great, however everything was delicious and we didn't regret the visit.nnThe staff were all friendly & helpful. Bathrooms were clean. Definitely worth a visit if you're passing through the area!
Decent artisan bakery with a big range of sweet and savory items. They used to make a very good sourdough but now it was just average compared to the price. They are Serving good coffee with friendly service.nPs. My most favorite items are apricot danish, sweet croissants and maple pecans escargot.n#noeyeats
Central location. Short walk from stunning Town Hall. Seats inside & outside. We were a bit later in the day, and the favourites had sold out. Hint: Get in early!nThe young staff worked well. I couldn't find a menu. We tried 4 pies. But no pictures to work put what we were eating. We had to ask what was on the plate. Lamb was the winner.nDate scone was light and fluffy. Butter only; No cream option.nCoffee was superb.
Went to this cute bakery on our way home to Melbourne from our stay in Ballarat. Highlight was the chicken croissant and the scroll!! Great service too. Make sure you check the parking signs around the area as there was a ticket inspector going around when we were there
We were in Ballarat for a few days visiting from Melbourne and came across this amazing bakerynThe pies are seriously the best ones we have ever eaten!! The Beef Ragu and Lamb and Rosemary 100% worth the money! They were so good we got a few cold ones to take away photo attached as we ate the hot ones too quick and were to excited by the smell to take a picturenThe coffee was excellent too! Thank you, we will be back next time we are in Ballarat
