Lovely bakery. Does get a lot of takeaway orders.nThe pies are usually meat ones, one vegetable option which was way too salty. We tried steak bacon cheese pie - again a little too salty. The caprese baguette was great.
We got takeaway and it was delicious. I highly recommend the cheesecake which we got 3 times because it’s so good. The raspberry croissant is good too but it’s also a bit too sweet.
We stumbled upon this bakery in Ballarat by accident, drawn in by the display of pastries at the window. The rustic interior, with its exposed brick walls and cozy charm, made it feel like a proper neighborhood spot.nWe ordered a steak and mushroom pie, which was tasty, though we did wish the pastry crust had been crispier and more flaky. The real highlight was the Anzac cookies. The staff kindly gave us an extra one. They were soft and delicious, perhaps a touch on the sweet side, but it was perfect for dipping into our coffees and rounding out the experience nicely. Overall, a pleasant bakery visit with a lovely atmosphere.
They make a fantastic veg sausage roll made from pumpkin, spinach, mushroom, feta and pine nuts and was so tasty.
