Overall we had a good experience here. The food was great and the service was excellent. All of the staff that we talked to were helpful and friendly. The pasta was really tasty and well prepared, I had the house made ravioli which I would get again for sure. The only complaint I have is their non-alcoholic drink choices are very limited so if you don't drink, know that you are picking from water bottled, sparkling, tap, coke no diet, ginger ale, lemonade, and milk. That wasn't enough for me to lower my rating since everything else was very good.
Generally good Italian food! Convenient location and good service. The fresh pasta was good. The staff were quite accommodating about allergies and sensitivities too. We had an Italian friend as part of the group who thought it was good Italian food, but not the best in Toronto. A really solid spot. Not a ton of vegetarian options, but still a few.
3.5/5 Great service! Our server couldn’t have been more pleasant. The food, however, was very average. Nothing wowed us here. We ordered 1 Capesante Gratinate and 2 Insalata di Carote e Barbabietole as appetizers. Both dishes were pleasant. We enjoyed these both. As mains, we ordered 3 the daily special truffle pasta and 4 Capricciosa pizza. These were underwhelming. The fresh pasta was good but did not taste at all like truffles, and the pizza was a bit disappointing as the ham was floppy and cold. It wasn’t an unpleasant experience but we won’t be returning here for Italian food.
Great food. Modest portions. Great service. Attractive bar and resturant. One point off because chef will not allow changing the type of pasta served with a dish because he has pastas and toppings calculated precisely. Yeah, right.
This restaurant was one of the restaurants recommended to us by a friend. The food was great especially the cacio e pepe. It’s very hard to find a good one. The waitress was also very nice and accommodating. We ended up ordering again delivery at the hotel but it wasn’t the same branch so I’d keep the 5 stars as they deserve it.
Great spot for good food and good drinks. Fresh pasta is delicious. One thing that was a bit of a bummer was the food was super salty and then I told the waiter and they happily re-made it for us. The service and ambiance was amazing. If it wasn't for the super salty meal, I would have given it 5 stars. Order the shrimp it's a must!!
My wife and I had dinner here after watching the Harry Potter and the Cursed Child show at the CAA Ed Mirvish Theatre. The location is well designed and it is very warm and cozy. There is a classic family style dinner table for larger parties. The service was superb and attentive right from the get go. 5 Stars to the service staff all day long. The food was outstanding really. I was impressed. I ordered : 1 Funghi Assoluti 2 Polpo Alla Griglia 3 Pappardelle Rage d' Anatra 4 14 oz Bistecca Every dish was top shelf. The grilled octopus was tender and packed with flavour. The Oyster mushrooms was a perfect complement to the arugula in a well executed dish. Then the amazing Pappardelle was cooked to al dente perfection with the fabulous and savoury backdrop of the duck ragu. I could have eaten that every day of the week and twice on Sundays. My steak was cooked perfectly to medium rare and seasoned well. There is nothing worse than a good steak that is under seasoned and it will require you to hit it with some salt. The steak was so tender and velvety that it basically melts in your mouth. The accompanying mushrooms were a tad too heavy on the salt however. Nonetheless, I thoroughly enjoyed my steak. I will be back to check on the consistency on my next go around . Happy Eats everyone.
I went here on 14th feb and was amazed by how well organized the place was despite being so busy. The staff was really helpful, polite and friendly. The food was super delicious. Highly recommended place for fine dining!
Went here early as we were going to a concert. The restaurant was clean and the staff was nice. Music had a 60s vibe and was different. We sat in a far off location, the restaurant was pretty much empty. A few minutes later a large family was seated right beside us. This made conversation hard as our section was now very loud. But it was ok we were good and excited for dinner. The wine was good but pricey compared to other restaurants. The burrata was very good but the greens were over seasoned. We ordered the ravioli and the salmon. The ravioli was over cooked and the salmon under seasoned. The mushrooms were over seasoned and replaced with new ones. After that we were pretty much ignored. We waited and nobody came by. 20 minutes later we asked for our bill. They cleared our plates and comped us for the bad main courses. Not sure that was enough. We were asked to return again. But I think we will pass. This place is a definite skip.
Gluten free pasta is amazing! I got the Cacio E Pepe and I loved it! The drinks from here are good too. The vibe is amazing and the price for the food is good as well. Would highly suggest trying this place for a night out or even lunch.
